(Hong Kong) On April 29, 2025, Dr. Yoichi Kato, a leading authority on immunotherapy in Japan, arrived in Hong Kong from Yokohama for a four-day intensive trip, during which he visited the Science Park laboratory and presided over the opening ceremony of the new site for Asia Immunotherapy Centre.
Exchange at Hong Kong's First ATP GMP Laboratory
Dr. Yoichi Kato and Connie Lam, Head of Asia Immunetherapy, met with Dr. Jiang Yizhen, Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology. The meeting aimed to understand the development of cell therapy in Hong Kong and to discuss and prepare for the introduction of Japanese cell therapy to Hong Kong.

The Asia Immunotherapy Centre has relocated from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central to provide a more comfortable space for cancer patients to undergo a range of rehabilitation treatments while traveling to Japan for treatment.
